The undisputed king of football returns with Madden NFL 09, including the rosters and stats of every player for the season. The twentieth entry in the Madden series, Madden NFL 09 includes some welcome quality of life improvements, alongside some revamped visuals. That said, some work has been done in making the game more accessible to a larger audience. This customizable difficulty is the biggest addition to the Madden formula.
Both veterans and amateurs will surely find this a welcome addition to make their game experience all the more pleasurable. A revamped animation system makes every pass and every kickoff feel just like the real deal. Giving you a multitude of options whichever gameplay mode you're in, the only thing difficult about learning this game is adjusting to the wealth of controls.

Outside of the football game itself, you'll see the same wealth of options that was offered in NCAA Football '07 , this time meant for big time NFL gameplay training.
They'e even put in a mode similar to the Create-A-Legend mode from NCAA, where you're trying to train a player up to become a first round draft pick, and then become a fantastic professional player. The presentation in this game is top notch, although it is still a bit early to see what a system like the Xbox could really do.
